The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians had a big offensive day Saturday and played a lot of people in a 22-0 four inning win over Union (Dugger) Indiana.
The Tribe scored their 22 runs on only 9 hits and made no errors, while the visitors were shut out on 2 hits and made 4 errors. The Indians scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first en route to their third straight win. Zander Cessna had a solid day with 2 hits and 3 RBI. Emery Ivers improved to 3-1 with the pitching win.
The 8-5-1 Indians are idle until Little Illini Conference (LIC) play Thursday at Olney (Richland County).
