The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians season came to a close Thursday.
They were knocked out of the Class 2A Marshall Regional with a 3-1 semi-final loss to Little Illini Conference foe Newton. The Tribe ends their season with a record of 15-13-1. It was also the final game for Lance Boldt as Indian head baseball coach. Newton will move on to play top seeded Effingham St Anthony in the final Saturday at 11 a.m. at Marshall.
