Vincennes University has announced that assistant coach Ingrida Hartsfield has been named as the interim head basketball coach for the Lady Trailblazers next season. She steps into the position formerly held by Harry Meeks, who retired after 33 years at the school. Hartsfield is a native of Latvia and played for VU from 2010 to 2012 and was a NJCAA All-American in 2012. She then moved onto to NCAA Division 1 Utah State University. Her coaching career began in 2015-16 with VU and lasted until 2017-18. She then returned to VU in 2022-23. A national search for a new womens head coach will commence in 2025.
