Maryrose Felling showed off her long-range shooting skills Tuesday against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter and set a program record.
The Triton Central junior hit 10 three-pointers to lead her team to a 72-14 win. Felling finished with 38 points. The double-digits 3s broke the TC record for made 3s in a game set by Lizzie Graham.
Felling (photo, back row center) scored 17 points in the opening quarter to get Triton Central going. Her final seven made baskets were all 3s.
The Tigers led 29-6 after one quarter and 50-8 at halftime.
Quinn King finished with 12 points and Sawyor Murdick added 10 to improve Triton Central to 6-5 overall and 3-1 in the Indiana Crossroads Conference standings.
Berkley Finke led Ritter (4-7, 1-1 ICC) with six points.
Triton Central won the junior varsity game, 43-20. Layla McKee made four 3s and led the Tigers with 15 points. Eliana Joy finished with 13.
Triton Central has another ICC game this week -- Thursday at Speedway (3-6, 1-2 ICC).
