The Fairfield Mules won both the boys and girls competition at the 2025 Matt Scherer Track and Field Invitational Meet Wednesday at Red Hill Jr/Sr High School in Bridgeport.
The Mules won the boys meet with 170 points, Flora was second with 145, the Lawrenceville Indians third with 68 points and host Red Hill was fourth with 41.
Two Indians won individual events-Braydan Morrison the 3200 meters and Stephen Killion the shot put.
The Lady Mules won the girls meet with 157 points with Vincennes Rivet second at 93, Flora third at 90, the Lawrenceville Lady Indians fourth with 56 and the Red Hill Lady Salukis were fifth with 51.
Haven Sanders of Lawrenceville won the high jump and Caitlee Gray of Red Hill won the triple jump.
Next action is Friday as both Lawrenceville and Red Hill are in the field for the Robinson Girls Invitational.
