Culver Acad. posts boys soccer shutout at Plymouth

Culver Academies kept the NLC’s leading scorer out of goal in posting a 6-0 boys soccer win at Plymouth’s Kindt SoccerPlex.

CMA led by two at halftime and extended the cushion with four second half goals.

Plymouth striker and NLC top goal scorer Diego Zelaya had five shots on goal but all were saved by the CMA goalkeeper.

Coach Grant Masson said freshman Giancarlo Arriaga shined in midfield passing quickly and effectivelyon what was basically his Rockies' debut .

Midfielder Levi Hutchinson had two shots saved and Arnold Galeano and Angel Pagoada had one shot each.

The Rockies defense was busy most of the night as some players struggled against an impressive and fast CMA strike crew.

Plymouth hosts Mishawaka for Senior Night Thursday at 6 p.m.
