
A dramatic come-from-behind win secured Bellarmine baseball its first Atlantic Sun Conference series victory of the season.
The Knights defeated the University of North Alabama, 5-3 Sunday in game one of a doubleheader in Louisville, Kentucky.
In game two, Bellarmine fell behind 9-1 before staging a comeback win, 11-10, to improve to 8-22 this season (4-7 ASUN).
Shelbyville graduate Charlie Rife had two hits and two walks, stole a base and scored a run in the 11-10 victory.
The three-game series will finish today in Louisville.

Brock Kuhn
The Shelbyville graduate had a single and a walk Tuesday in Ohio Northern’s 6-5 win at Otterbein.
Ohio Northern also won game one of the doubleheader, 3-1, to improve to 16-6 overall and 4-0 against Ohio Athletic Conference opponents.
Kylee Edwards
The Shelbyville graduate had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs Saturday in Mississippi State’s 12-4 win over Tennessee in Knoxville.
The win was the only one for the Bulldogs in the SEC three-game series. Tennessee won Friday, 8-0, and in game two Saturday, 8-0.
Mississippi State is 31-10 (7-5 SEC).
Cheyenne Eads
The Shelbyville graduate had a hit and a walk Sunday in the University of Indianapolis’ 5-1 loss to Missouri-St. Louis.
Eads took the loss in the pitcher’s circle, going 6.1 innings and allowing seven hits and one walk. She struck out four.
The Greyhounds bounced back with a 4-2 victory in game two of the doubleheader.
Asher Caldwell
The Morristown graduate finished +17 for Trine men’s golf Friday and Saturday at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational.
On Friday at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois, Caldwell shot 11-over par 83. He followed that Saturday with a 6-over par 77 at Weibring Golf Club.
Kina Schultz
The Shelbyville graduate finished seventh in the 100 hurdles (18.48) and fourth in the 400 hurdles (1:15.91) for Muskingum Saturday at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational.
Ethan Lambert
The Shelbyville graduate placed 13th in the shot put (38 feet, seven inches) and fifth in the discus (130-10) for the University of Indianapolis Friday at the Indiana Tech Open in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Brayden Wilkins
The Triton Central graduate won the 200 meters Saturday for Franklin College in a personal-best time of 22.55 seconds at the Manchester Invitational.
Wilkins also helped Franklin finish third in the 400 relay (44.98).
Elijah von Werder
The Shelbyville graduate finished 21st in the 800 (2:08.99) for Franklin College at the Manchester Invitational.
Connor Duncan
The Shelbyville graduate finished 23rd in the discus (91-4) and 19th in the hammer throw (103-9) for Franklin College at the Manchester Invitational.
