Kylee Edwards smashed four home runs last week for LSU to move to the top of the statistical leaderboard for the Tigers.
On Tuesday against Louisiana Tech, the Shelbyville graduate delivered a two-run home run that helped carry the Tigers to a 9-0 victory.
Edwards was the offensive star for LSU in a marquee matchup with Oklahoma in Baton Rouge.
The Sooners won game one of the SEC series, 3-2, Friday in eight innings.
Edwards had a two-run home run in the fourth inning Saturday that extended LSU’s lead to 3-0. She had two hits in the 3-1 victory.
On Sunday, Edwards hit two solo home runs in LSU’s 8-4 loss to Oklahoma.
Edwards is now hitting .306 this season with six home runs and 17 runs batted in.
LSU is 23-12 this season.

Karissa Hamilton
The Shelbyville graduate blasted two home runs and drove in three Wednesday in Kentucky’s 8-7 loss in nine innings to Louisville.

Cheyenne Eads
The No. 9 ranked Greyhounds of the University of Indianapolis went 6-0 last week to improve to 32-2 this season.
Eads, a Shelbyville graduate, pushed her record to 16-1 this season with a 5-4 win at Cedarville (Ohio), 13-0 at Southwest Baptist (Bolivar, Missouri) and 5-4 at Drury (Springfield, Missouri).
Eads allowed eight hits and struck out three Sunday at Drury. She also had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs.

Ethan Lambert
The Shelbyville graduate finished 18th in the hammer throw of the University of Indianapolis at the Marian Knight Open. His best throw was 42.83 meters.
Lambert also placed 20th in the discus (37.08 meters) and shot put (11.18 meters).

Dalton Jones
The Shelbyville graduate had a two-run double and later scored Saturday in Olney Central College’s 8-4 win at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Olney Central is 11-18 this season.

Brayden Basey
The Shelbyville graduate had a home run and drove in two runs Saturday for Christian Brothers in a 13-6 loss to Trevecca Nazarene University in Memphis, Tennessee.
On Tuesday, Basey had a double and scored a run in a 12-2 loss to Ouachita Baptist University. In an 11-5 win Wednesday over Ouachita Baptist, he had three hits and drove in two runs.
Christian Brothers in 9-24 this season.

Charlie Rife
The Shelbyville graduate had a double and a walk Tuesday for Bellarmine in a 7-6 win over Northern Kentucky.
On Sunday, Rife reached base twice and scored a run in the Knights’ 12-9 win in which they trailed 9-1 in the sixth inning.
Bellarmine is 10-16.

Bryce Haney
The Triton Central graduate pitched three perfect innings in relief Sunday for Wabash baseball in a 4-1 loss at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.
Haney did not allow a batter to reach base and struck out two.
Wabash is 5-14.

Kali Laycock
The Shelbyville graduate walked twice and scored two runs Saturday in Franklin College’s 17-0 win at Berea.
Franklin is 12-4 this season.

Jayda McKee
The Triton Central graduate had a run-scoring single, stole a base and scored a run Wednesday for Anderson in a 7-6 win over Centre.
On Sunday, McKee reached base twice, stole a base and scored a run in Anderson’s 5-3 win over Transylvania.
The Ravens are 5-13 this season.

Lillian Fillippinie
The Triton Central graduate had a single and scored a run Saturday in Muskingum’s 7-4 win over Case Western Reserve.
In the second game of the doubleheader, she had a single in a 7-3 loss.
Muskingum is 14-4.

Corbin Deck
The Shelbyville graduate collected 11 kills, one assist, two service aces, four blocks and eight digs Saturday for Franklin College volleyball in a 25-23, 25-21, 21-25, 21-25, 15-10 loss to Greenville.
Franklin earned its second victory of the season over Rockford Saturday, 29-27, 25-17, 25-21. Deck had 11 kills, one block and five digs.
The Grizzlies are 6-19.
