
Vivian Blye was part of a record-tying performance by Huntington women’s soccer.
Blye, a Triton Central graduate, scored the final goal of the first half Wednesday in Huntington’s 11-0 win at Manchester.
Blye’s goal made it 7-0.
The 11 goals tied the program record for a game and margin of victory, set 13 years ago.
Huntington improved to 5-2 this season.
Here is a look at other Shelby County graduates competing at the collegiate level.
Brayden Wilkins
The Triton Central graduate carried the ball nine times for 22 yards and had one reception for 10 yards Saturday in Franklin College’s 35-27 loss at Trine.
Wilkins also had a kickoff return for 12 yards for Franklin (1-2).
Axel Conover
The Shelbyville graduate was credited with one tackle Saturday for Hanover in a 24-23 win at Alma College (Michigan).
The win was the first this season for the Panthers (1-2).
Brayden Schultz
The Shelbyville graduate recorded the first two solo tackles of his career Saturday for Montana State Northern in a 38-16 loss to the College of Idaho.
Montana State is 0-4 this season.
Jake Garrison
The Shelbyville graduate carded a round of 2-over-par 74 Friday at the Midwest Region Classic at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin.
Franklin finished sixth in the 45-team field. The event was shortened to one day due to inclement weather Saturday.
Garrison’s 74 was good enough for 35th place overall.
Shelby Lasure
The Shelbyville graduate had one assist and seven digs Saturday in Anderson’s 18-25, 25-11, 25-19, 25-19 loss to Asbury.
On Wednesday, Olivet defeated the Ravens, 15-25, 27-25, 26-24, 30-28. Lasure had one assist and six digs.
Anderson is 5-4 this season.
Kindall Dorsey
The Morristown graduate finished with three assists and five digs Sunday in Wright State Lake’s 25-19, 25-17, 25-20 loss at Salem University.
On Saturday, Kent State Tuscarawas defeated the Lakers, 25-10, 25-17, 25-9. Dorsey collected four digs.
Wright State Lake is 7-4.
