The quest of the 2025 Little Illini Conference (LIC) boys basketball tournament championship is still alive for the Lawrenceville Indians.
They beat the Casey-Westfield Warriors handily 57-32 Tuesday night in semi-final play at Lawrenceville to advance.
The Tribe jumped out to a 13 point lead after one quarter and never looked back in winning their 7th straight game.
The offense was paced by Maddox Pargin with 17 points, Jayden Goff had 15 and Noah Wilson 12.
With the victory, the Indians are now 16-6 on the season.
They will play the Richland County (Olney) Tigers for the title Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
Richland County (Olney) beat Paris 49-28 in the first semi-final Tuesday.
