The struggles continue for the Lawrenceville baseball Indians as the season nears an end.
South Knox rallied for 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to erase a 5-4 deficit and pick up an 8-5 win at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville Wednesday. The Indian offense was led by Neilan Bickers with a hit and 2 RBI and Hunter Gray with a RBI hit. The loss was the fourth in a row for Lawrenceville, now at 8-10 on the season. The Indians are back in action Thursday as they travel to Bridgeport to meet the Red Hill Salukis in a Lawrence County battle at the Tank Farm. Gametime is scheduled for 6 p.m.
