The Marshall Lions handed the Lawrenceville baseball Indians their 5th loss in a row Thursday as they blanked the Tribe 6-0 in Little Illini Conference (LIC) action at Marshall.
The Lions tallied 6 runs on only 6 hits and committed 1 error in the contest while the Indians could not score on 5 hits and made 2 errors. Emery Ivers had two of the hits while Hunter Gray, Liam Morey, and Teegan Rolland each had a hit.
The Indians are now 2-10 on the season as they prepare for a road trip to West Frankfort for a contest Saturday at 11 a.m.
