The losing streak for the Lawrenceville baseball Indians has reached three.
They were beaten 9-1 Monday in Little Illini Conference (LIC) action at Robinson.
The Maroons scored 9 runs on 14 hits and committed 3 errors while the Tribe were held to 1 run on just 2 hits with 4 errors.
Wyalan Bice had an RBI double and Maddox Pargin a single for the only Indian hits on the day and Emery Ivers took the pitching loss, going only 3 innings and allowing 7 runs on 8 hits with no walks and just 2 strikeouts.
The struggling Indians are now below .500 at 8-9 with a day off Tuesday before hosting South Knox Wednesday at Unit 20 Ballpark.
