The Paris Tigers scored 7 times in the top of the third inning to break a scoreless tie and went on to hand the Lawrenceville Indians a 13-0 5 inning loss Thursday in Little Illini Conference (LIC) at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The Tigers scored 13 runs on 10 hits and made no errors while the Tribe were held scoreless on 6 hits and made 3 errors. Emery Ivers and Hunter Gray each had 2 hits for the Indians.
Lawrenceville suffered its 7th straight loss to fall to 2-12 on the season. The Indians will hit the road Monday for LIC play traveling to Newton to meet the Eagles.
