The Parkview baseball Braves won their second game in a row Tuesday in a high scoring affair at Paris Mayo.
They rallied to score 11 runs over the last three innings to outlast the host Redbirds 11-9. The Braves trailed 6-0 after four innings before coming alive offensively. The attack was led by Lewis Taylor with 3 hits and 3 RBI, Paxton Gher and Parker Lewis each had a hit and 2 RBI, and Leo Seitzinger added 2 hits and an RBI.
Lewis picked up the pitching win in relief as he went the final two innings to nail down the victory.
The win was the second in a row for the Braves and moves their record to 6-3 on the season. They next see action Thursday when they travel to Bridgeport to meet the Red Hill Junior High Salukis in a Lawrence County battle at the Tank Farm.
