Triton Central High School senior goalkeeper Cheyenne Allen has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Allen notched her 10th shutout of the season last week in a 4-0 win over Indianapolis Lutheran. With the shutout, Allen now owns the school records for shutouts in a season (10) and shutouts for a career (25).
The win over Lutheran concluded the team’s fourth consecutive shutout. It was the second stretch of four straight shutouts for Allen and the Tigers this season.
According to MaxPreps, Allen has totaled 70 saves this season.
Triton Central is currently 9-4-2 and hosts its final regular season match today against University.
