Shelia Kay Gentory, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Franciscan Health.
Born May 18, 1958 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Rector "Sonny" & Peggy (Coots) Gentory.
Survivors include 2 sons- Tim Kessler and Josh Kessler, both of Shelbyville; siblings- Sharon Deiwert (Mike) of Greenfield, Ronald Gentory (Beth) of New Salisbury, Robbie Gentory (Lori) of Morrisdtown, Carol Hook (Steve)
Morristown, Crystal Stover (David) of Morristown; 5 grandchildren- Kennedy Eldridge, Lexi Kessler, Jemma Kessler, Kylan Callahan, Sawyer Callahan; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Opal.
She was preceded in death by her father, and her grandparents.
Ms. Gentory had been employed with Busy Bee Cleaning and several local factories.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on July 11th, 2026 at the Gentory family home, 8563 N. Blue River Road, Morristown, Indiana.
Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
