
Rosalind Gaffney, 75, of Brookville, passed away August 6, 2025 at her residence.
She was born July 31, 1950, in Shelbyville, IN to Walter Shoopman and Anna (Shelton) Shoopman.
Rosalind enjoyed reading, and the freedom of camping. Her grandkids were her pride and joy and enjoyed spending every minute she could with them. She looked forward to her trips she got to take with Mitch and Nancy Staples to Florida.
She married Michael Alvin Gaffney on December 20, 1969 and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Amy Moore, of Rushville; her son, Michael Joe (wife, Carrie) Gaffney, of Indianapolis; her daughter, Stacey (husband, J) Parks, of Greenfield; 7 grandchildren, Kaylee (husband, Dylan), Jacob (wife, Morgan), Macey (husband, AJ), Anna, Luke, Abby, Jared and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Candi (husband, Bruce) Milbourn and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; her sisters, Janet Baatz and Janie Kahn and her brother, Georgie.
Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery.
