Perry W. Sanders, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at Hancock Regional Hospital.
Born July 20, 1959, in Greenfield, he was the son of Wayne Leon Sanders and Mary Elizabeth (Stocklin) McNabb. He married Nancy Lee (Mullen) Sanders on July 9, 1983, and she survives.
Other survivors include 2 daughters- Amanda Nicole Wilson (Todd) of Indianapolis, and Andrea Michele Hill of Indianapolis; mother-in-law Margaret Louise Mullen of Fairland; sister Pamela Polston (Donald) of Fairland, brother Ian McNabb of Indianapolis, sister Barbara LaPlante of South Dakota, brother Todd McNabb (Patty) of Franklin, sister Cindy Gray of Rossville, brother Sean McNabb (Abbie) of Lebanon, sister Patricia Mefford of Carrollton, KY., sister Christina Sanders Abades of Florida; brother-in-law Bob Mullen (Annette) of Shelbyville, sister-in-law Barb Ginder (Ron) of Michigan; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-parents Wayne & Doshie Sanders, Richard & Mary McNabb, sister Paula Adkins, brother Larry Sanders, and father-in-law Norman Mullen.
Perry was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Triton Central High School in 1977. He worked for Runnebohm Construction for over 30 years and also Corsi Cabinets of Indy for 6 years. Perry was a member of Central Indiana Bass Club. He enjoyed carpentry special projects, mowing the lawn, outdoor work, cooking, watching sports on tv, NASCAR racing, watching Tony Stewart, and was an avid bass fisherman.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Dan Richwine officiating.
Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
