Patricia Lynn "Pat" Bowlby, 83, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Arbor Grove Village.

Born November 29, 1940 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Paul Richard Collins and Frances Allene (Dawson) Collins.  She married Gary Bowlby on July 12, 1980 and he preceded  her on June 2, 2022.

Survivors include a  stepson Damon A. Bowlby of Florida, and a stepdaughter Alisan J. Moder (husband Tracy) of Shelbyville; a brother Thomas William Collins (wife Kathy) of Mooresville; sister Angela Collins (husband Jack) of  Oklahoma; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, 3 brothers Paul Richard "Paul Jr." Collins, Jerry Lee Collins, Anthony "Tony" Collins; daughter-in-law Becki Bowlby; and sister-in-law JoLynn Collins.

Mrs. Bowlby had lived for most of her lifetime in this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High School.  She had been a factory worker at KCL Corp., retiring after several years of service.  She  had also been self employed as a home care assistant for several years.  She was a past member of the Elk's Lodge and Moose Lodge.

Pat loved playing BINGO at the nursing home, fishing, mushroom hunting, and also enjoyed arts and crafts.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral 

Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Cliff Bunch officiating.  Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to : Lett's Volunteer Fire Dept., in care of the funeral home.
