Mindy J. Burge, 58, of Walton, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 2, 1967, in Kokomo to Robert & Linda (Sites) Burge Sr.
Mindy was a dispatcher for Bona Vista for several years. She was very talented with computers and overcame any obstacle that came her way. She was an animal lover, especially dogs and cats. Her grandsons keith and mikey were her life; she loved them more than anything. As her kids would say, she was fearless ,strong,supportive,loving and had a mouth like a razer. But she would help anyone and always did.
Surviving family include her mother, Linda Burge of Kokomo; her companion of over 30 years, Paul Fipps of Walton; her children, Seth Burge of North Dakota Rachal (Andrew) Berkshire of Kokomo and ; her god children, Austin, Tyecha and Kyle Oakes; her grandchildren, Keith “Jojo” and Michael “Moose” Berkshire of Kokomo and siblings, Bobby (Tamara) Burge Jr. of Kokomo and Jamie Cole of Frankfort. She is also survived by nephews, Jordon DeWitt, Mason Cole and great nephew, Ronin DeWitt. Mindy is preceded in death by her father. Robert burge
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Collins officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time.
