Margaret A. Hudson, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Franciscan Health.
She was born October 23, 1934 in Tell City, IN to Alvin Franchville and Emma (Harbarville) Franchville.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Margaret worked at Wellman’s General Electric until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Metz (Gerald Russell) and son, Kevin (wife, Linda) Metz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Metz and several brothers and sisters and her furry companion Amber.
A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 16, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
Visitation will be January 16, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Mike Keucher officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
