Linda Sandefur, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Morning Breeze in Greensburg.
Born on July 20, 1948, in Greensburg she was the daughter of Leonard W. Scudder and Catha (Bostic) Harper.
She was married to Donald Sandefur and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother Catha Harper of Greensburg; 2 children- Tracy (Doug) Rogers of Shelbyville, Matthew (Heaven) Cruser of Greensburg;
2 sisters- Nancy Conner of Greensburg, Judie (David) Anderson of Tampa, Fl; 7 grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her father Leonard, and brothers-
William L. Scudder and Thomas A. Scudder.
Linda had lived in this area most of her lifetime after previously moving from Lakeland, Florida. Linda graduated
from American School in 1969 and also attended Ivy Tech College, and was a member of Star Baptist Church in
St. Paul. She was a factory worker for Knauf Fiberglass for 18 years and also American Lift in accounting for 5 years.
Linda enjoyed quilting, horseback riding, gardening, and raising her 4 poodles, but most of all loved spending time
with her family.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Hebron Cemetery, 2768 S Co Rd 1050 W, Greensburg.
