
Linda Faye Farmer, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born February 3, 1955, in Bull Creek, WV to June Coleman and Margaret (Blankenship) Coleman.
Linda was a former member of Hope’s Point Baptist Church. A few of her favorite things were watching Walker Texas Ranger, Little House on the Prairie, Tweety Bird, WWE and the Indianapolis Colts. She also enjoyed listening to Conway Twitty.
Her greatest joy came from her full-time job as a homemaker. Linda was a caretaker at heart and was always caring for the three men in her life. She especially loved and cared for her grandchildren.
She married Gregory Farmer on September 15, 1979, and he survives. They cherished 45 loving years of marriage.
Linda is also survived by her father, her son, Eric (wife, Donna) Farmer; grandchildren, Summer (husband, Bryce) Kirstein, Ellie Farmer, Cayde Farmer, Tyler Adamich; her sister, Donna (husband, Richard) Bowen; her brother, Stark (wife, Tammy) Coleman; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Farmer, and Randy Farmer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her son, Hal Farmer, and her brother, Daniel Coleman.
Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
