Larry Dee Hasler, age 74 of Olney and formerly of Sumner, passed away at Carle-Richland County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on May 25, 1949, to Hubert and Patricia (Lucas) Hasler. Larry served as a Marine in the United States Armed Forces. He was a member of the American Legion in Olney and had worked as a welder for Case IH and DMI in Bloomington, Illinois. Surviving family includes: his wife Karla (Burden) Hasler of Stanford: four children- Debbie Anderson and husband Brent of Robinson; Amy Carter and David Fancil of Oblong; Laura Badeaux of Eagan, MN; and Lucas Hasler of Stanford: ten grandchildren: and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Zachary Perrine. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, at Cunningham Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Bridgeport City Cemetery.
