John E. Eikman, 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
Born March 30, 1970 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Lewis E. Eikman and Donna (Dark) Eikman. He married Jane (Thompson) Eikman on November 15, 2003, and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother of Geneva; 4 children- Samantha L. Eikman of Michigan, Sara E. Eikman of Shelbyville, Myeisha Baldwin (Derick) of Greensburg, Jody Rasdall of Shelbyville; and one brother James Eikman of Acton. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Eikman was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1988. He had worked as an armed guard for Indiana Armored Car for 6 years, and previously worked at PK USA for several years.
He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. John enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching Western movies, and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
