
John David McClintock II, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born on December 31, 1958 in Beech Grove, he was the son of John David McClintock and Nelma (Lingle) McClintock.
Survivors include 2 children- John McClintock III (Melissa) of St. Paul, Matthew McClintock (Carrie) of Richmond Hill, Georgia;
6 grandchildren- Shaniah, Aubrey, Ezra, Austin, Noah, Kendra; and 4 siblings- Michele Compton (Dave) of Indianapolis, Sherri
Rupert (Jack) of Indianapolis, Cindy Ritter of Indianapolis, and Teresa McClintock of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by
his parents and grandparents.
John was a member of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Greensburg and served in the US Army for 20 years attaining the rank of
Sergeant. He worked for PK USA for 15 years then in construction as a heavy equipment operator for several years and lastly
worked for Lincare delivering oxygen. He was a lifetime resident of this area and was extremely loyal to his friends, family, his
church and God. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and dearly loved his family.
Funeral services will be 7:00pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle, 1114 W. Westridge Parkway, Greensburg with Pastor Jeffrey Sangl officiating.
Burial with military honors will be at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
