Hazel Irene (Crowe) Bushman, 91, of Monticello, IN (formerly of Francesville, IN) went home to be with the Lord at 9:50 AM Monday, May 18, 2026.
She passed away at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. Hazel was born on May 6, 1935 in Decatur, IL to the late Perry Jenner and Mary Ann (Adams) Crowe, Sr. After graduating from high school, she completed nursing school in Champagne, IL and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Hazel enjoyed nursing and retired from Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.
On April 3, 1960, she married the love of her life, Richard Eugene Bushman, in Decatur. He passed away on May 8, 2018. The Bushman’s made their home in the Francesville area. They were active members of Paul’s Chapel Church in rural Winamac, IN. Hazel especially enjoyed Sundays spent with her family and friends at church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon - 2 PM EDT Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
A Nursing Honor Guard Ceremony will be held at 2 PM EDT Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac followed by Funeral Services with Pastor Phillip Messer officiating.
Burial will take place at Paul’s Chapel Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Paul’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
