Georgia M. Polston, 86, of Fairland, passed away on Tuesday, March 3,2026. She was born on January 10, 1940 to the late Welby and Creola Allen.
Georgia married Tony Polston, Jr. on December 22, 1956. They were married 65 years.
Georgia attended New Palestine High School. She worked at the Eagles Lodge and sold Avon for 40 years before retiring. Georgia is a member of Fairland Christian Church for many years. She attended bible studies and ladies group. She bowled 25 years on a mixed league and women’s league.
She is survived by her children Don (Pam) Polston, Ken (Judy) Polston and Shelia (Pat) Coffin; nine grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and three brothers Charles (Pauline) Allen, Wayne Allen and Joe (Marti) Allen. She is proceeded in death by both parents; her husband Tony Polston, Jr,; and siblings Cecil Allen, Carlton Allen, Ruth Brown, Ronnie Gorden, Mary Mings and Maxine Howard.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Fairland Cemetery next to beloved husband Tony Polston, Jr.
