
Deloris Mae Branson, 74, of Flat Rock, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her home.
She was born November 12, 1950, in Shelbyville to Turner Caine and Nettie (Debaun) Caine.
Deloris attended Waldron High School. She also attended Indiana Business College. She was an accountant at K.T. before retiring from the accounting department at Ryobi. Deloris was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she was extremely active with their kitchen crew. She enjoyed being involved with her church family, especially her church ladies. Deloris’ hobbies included reading, knitting and cooking. Her family has always been the most important to her and she cherished her grandchildren dearly.
She married Marvin Branson on September 24, 1969, and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2011.
Deloris is survived by her daughters, Katrina (husband, Jason) Keller, and Shelley Pursley; her grandchildren, Alyssa Weaver, Austin (Trystin) Keller, Ashley Keller (Dylan Sullivan), Thomas Pursley (Ashia Lacey) and Aden Pursley, her great-grandchildren, Mylee Piercy (Raydon Pierce), Raelynn Keller, Aja Weaver, Maddison Keller, and Addison Keller; her brother, Kenny (wife, Barb) Caine; her aunt, Elsie Williams, her amazing niece and nephew, Kristi Caine and E.N. Milbourn; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, George Caine, U.J. Caine and Ronnie Caine; and her nieces, Missy Caine, and Missy Curry.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 3718 E. Blue Ridge Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the church with Dr. Robb Barlow and Pastor Greg Redd officiating.
Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.
