Courtney A. Brattain, 46, of St. Paul, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Greensburg.
Born March 7, 1980 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Fred and Cynthia (Krynicki) Brattain.
Survivors include her parents of Waldron; 2 children- son Tyler Conover of Gowdy, daughter
Jenna Conover of Shelbyville; 3 brothers- Jarrod Brattain of Seymour, Jeremy Brattain (Ann) of
Indianapolis, Terry Brattain (Stacey) of Shelbyville; 2 sisters- Carly Fair (Cody) of Indianapolis,
and Melissa Dillard (Scott) of Shelbyville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Brattain was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1998.
She had been a hotel manager for Hilton Inn in Greensburg.
Courtney enjoyed helping others and would give her last dollar to someone in need. She adored her
children and cherished every moment she spent with them.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Glenn E, George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos Road, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, April 14th,
from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral
home.
