Plymouth – Christine R. Eaton, 68, was called home to the Lord on June 15, 2026 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on December 11, 1957 in Rochester, IN, Chris was the daughter of James and Velva (Mollenhour) Rogers.
She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1976 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Manchester University. In 2002, Christine furthered her education by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. This accomplishment marked the beginning of her dedicated career as an occupational therapist, serving at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and later with the Plymouth Community School Corporation through their JESSE Program.
Family and faith were what meant the most to Chris; she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. Whether making memories over the holidays or just spending a weekend together, she was the happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading in her quiet time and planning her next trip to Myrtle Beach, one of her favorite places to visit.
Chris was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Plymouth.
Chris is survived by her children, Rachelle Raines, Ryan Eaton, and Kyle Eaton along with their father, Larry Eaton; grandchildren, Bryce, Emily, Kami, Evan, Elizabeth, Emmitt, and Addelynn; and her siblings, Gregory Rogers and Darla Jill Arnett.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Velva.
Family will be ready to accept visitors beginning at 12:30PM on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Grace Baptist Church, 1830 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 1PM with Pastor Matthew Elliott officiating.
A private burial will take place at the Rochester IOOF Cemetery in Rochester, IN.
