
Carole A. Stine, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Timber Creek Village.
Born on January 29, 1942, in Milan, Indiana she was the daughter of Omer Fricker and Clarice (Sellers) Fricker Voris.
She married William Roland Stine on August 14, 1965, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2003.
Survivors include 2 children- Susanne Meredith (Kris) of Shelbyville, Jason Stine (Leigh) of Crestwood, Kentucky; several
nieces and nephews; sister in law Carol Cooprider (Harold) of Shelbyville; and 2 grandchildren- Liv & Stella Stine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and sister Connie Hilton.
Carole was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Franklin High School in 1960. She was a member of the First
United Methodist Church and was a librarian for Shelbyville High School and Shelbyville Public Library for several years.
Carole was an exceptional artist, she enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, crafting and ceramics and was a very spiritual lady.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2025 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road with
Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Friday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
