Carol Ann Teater, 78, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Waldron Health & Rehab.
Born April 25, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of Daniel Weiner and Josephine (Chalopny) Neeb.
She married Roy D. Teater on April 21, 1979, and he preceded her in 1997.
Survivors include 2 children- Robin Bowden (Brad) of Indianapolis, Timothy McCain (Rajean) of Brownsburg;
2 brothers- William Basey (Jennifer) of Wisconsin, John Neeb (Karen) of South Carolina; 4 grandchildren- Noah
Bowden, Evan McCain, Max McCain, Sam McCain; 2 nieces- Amber Fairchild (Ray) of North Carolina, Madisen
Basey (Hunter) of Wisconsin; great niece Raelynn Fairchild, and 2 great nephews- Olen Basey, and Justin Neeb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, and her grand dog Paco.
Mrs. Teater had lived in this area for her entire lifetime, and graduated from high school in Missouri. She had been a
certified podiatry assistant with her husband Dr. R. Dean Teater's practice for 18 years. She also had worked as a
pharmacy tech at CVS in Shelbyville for several years.
Carol loved gardening, shopping, animals, and anything pertaining to the Royal Family. She loved her family and
the time she spent with them.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road. Friends may call on Friday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
