Carl “Roger” Scheffler, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be from 10am to 11:30 am on next Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Evangelical United Church of Christ, 2630 S. Miller St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral service will follow at Noon, with Pastor Charles Jordan officiating.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date, with military graveside rites conducted by the local military committee.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
