The Wolf Wardrobe at Parke Heritage High School is an initiative, crafted as an act of love by PHHS counselor Sheryl McDaniel.
This project is housed in a former storage area and provides students with access to a wide range of clothing, shoes, and accessories, creating a resource where students can shop for their needs.
The clothes closet is designed to resemble a boutique, offering students a dignified and enjoyable shopping experience. With wardrobe dividers available, students can try on clothes in a comfortable and private setting. This setup not only meets practical needs, but also fosters a sense of confidence and self-esteem among students.
The closet includes a diverse collection of items, which includes business wear suitable for interviews, casual and everyday wear as well as prom dresses.
National Honor Society members have played a key role in organizing these donations, and putting them on display.
Mrs. McDaniel has streamlined the process for students to request a shopping experience through a dedicated form. This ensures that every student who needs assistance can receive it discreetly and efficiently.
Currently, the primary need for the closet is plastic hangers to support the growing collection of clothes. Community members wishing to contribute can bring hangers to the high school office.
