Volunteers needed for this REES Theatre’s Blueberry Festival Half Pot fundraiser

The REES Theatre is calling on community members to step up and help support one of its most important fundraising efforts of the year. The historic downtown theatre is seeking volunteers for the Blueberry Festival Half Pot Raffle on Monday, September 7th — and every shift filled means more support for the programs and performances that make The REES a cornerstone of life in Plymouth.

Held in partnership with the United Way of Marshall County, the Half Pot Raffle offers volunteers a unique opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on The REES Theatre. Fifty percent of all raffle proceeds collected on Monday will benefit The REES, helping to fund live performances, classic films, educational programming, community events, and the continued preservation of the historic venue.

Last year, REES volunteers helped raise more than $2,000 through this annual fundraiser. This year, the theatre hopes to exceed that total by filling every volunteer shift with enthusiastic supporters.

Three volunteer shifts are available on Monday, September 7th:

• 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

No previous volunteer experience is necessary. Whether someone has volunteered with The REES for years or is looking for a first opportunity to get involved, the Half Pot Raffle offers a fun and easy way to give back to the community while supporting one of Plymouth's most treasured cultural landmarks.

Volunteers can sign up by selecting a Monday shift through the United Way of Marshall County volunteer registration page and indicating that they are volunteering with The REES Theatre during the registration process. Community members are also encouraged to share the opportunity with friends, family members, and fellow REES supporters to help ensure every shift is fully staffed.

Every volunteer hour and every raffle ticket sold helps strengthen The REES Theatre's mission of bringing exceptional arts, entertainment, educational experiences, and community programming to Plymouth.
