A man was arrested after Plymouth Police investigated the report of a suspicious individual trying to break into a washing machine at Country Charm Laundry.
Just after midnight Tuesday morning, May 14th Officer Mark was dispatched to 1921 North Michigan Street, the Country Charm Laundry. During his investigation it was determined that 48-year-old Eric Pedroza, who had a bookings report address of Bridgman, Michigan was in possession of a hypodermic needle and prescription medication not prescribed to him.
Eric Pedroza was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of a legend drug, possession of methamphetamine as well as an outstanding warrant out of St. Joseph County, Michigan. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
