There will definitely be change when January rolls around for the Rockville Town Board.
The only question is what will that change look like after the Republican Primary Tuesday night.
Rodger Smith was the top vote getter, earning 342 votes or 44.57 percent, while Shane D. Russell also advances to the November general election after garnering 242 votes or 34.57 percent. Tyson Conrady came in third place with 146 votes or 20.86 percent.
"I am very excited and thankful for all the support I have received," Smith told The Parke County Post.
Both Smith and Russell will advance to the November general election, where they will face Democrat Kevin Callans, who received 58 votes in the Democratic primary.
Voters will select two candidates in the November general election to replace outgoing board members Parke Swaim and Chris McCann.
