September at The REES Theatre: free improv, classic films, live music, and more

The REES Theatre has a full lineup of entertainment planned for September, with something for all ages and interests — and much of it free.

Dramatic Fanatics is bringing a free weekly improv class to The REES Theatre, beginning Sunday, September 13. Open to adults 18 and older, the classes run Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. No experience is necessary — just come ready to laugh, learn, and get creative. The Seasoned Citizen Film Series continues with Shirley Temple in Curly Top, a heartwarming family favorite. Guests 55 and older enjoy admission for just $8, including popcorn and a drink. The series is sponsored by Miller's Assisted Living.

The Rangers bring their signature blend of country and Americana to the Bob Pickell Performing Arts Stage for an unforgettable night of authentic American music. With rich harmonies and foot-stomping favorites, it promises to be a performance country fans won't want to miss.

As part of The REES Theatre's America 250 Film Series, The Crossing will be shown Friday, September 25, with showtimes at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. The film offers a compelling look at leadership, sacrifice, and perseverance during one of America's defining moments. The screening is made possible by an anonymous sponsor.
