Officers from the Plymouth Police Department responded to a complaint of loud noise Sunday morning at about 2:20 in the area of Richter Road and Baker Street. A local woman was arrested on multiple charges.
Officer Mark was the investigating officer and his report states that while officers were enroute to the call, Marshall County Central Dispatch advised city officers that there was a female outside pointing a gun at the vehicle with the loud music. It was also reported a round was fired from the gun.
Officers identified the suspect as Samantha Hudson, 47, of the 900 block of Richter Road in Plymouth. Hudson was taken into custody without further incident. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for intimidation with a deadly weapon as a level 5 felony, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon as a level 6 felony, and pointing a loaded firearm as a level 6 felony.
Samantha Hudson was held on a $1,500 cash bond. Within a couple of hours her bond was paid and she was released on bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
