A Rochester man sustained injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Muckshaw Road on Monday evening, after his vehicle reportedly lost control due to a snowdrift.
At approximately 6:12 p.m. on Monday, December 1, Marshall County Central Dispatch was notified of the incident on Muckshaw Road, south of 18B Road, in Argos. Responding officers found the driver, 40-year-old Joseph Howell of Rochester, outside of his vehicle, a 2005 Ford Explorer, which had gone into a ditch.
Mr. Howell informed officers that he was traveling northbound on Muckshaw Road when he encountered a snowdrift, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital with complaints of pain.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Argos Fire Department, Argos Police Department, Argos EMS, and Tim's Towing.
