A Plymouth woman died Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 31 and 9A Road, according to the Marshall County Coroner's Office.
Marshall County Central Dispatch received the initial call at 3:19 p.m. The investigation determined that Donna Warren, 72, of Plymouth, was traveling eastbound on 9A Road in a red Ford Focus when the vehicle entered the path of a southbound semi-tractor-trailer and was struck.
Warren was the sole occupant of the Ford Focus. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Justyn Wade. Family members have been notified.
Plymouth Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate and is expected to release additional information.
