An 18-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested Monday evening after police say she drove through city streets with no headlights on and without a valid driver's license.
Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had been reported for driving all over the roadway near the hospital on State Road 17 at 7:41 p.m. on October 19. The vehicle was spotted at Fifth and Jefferson Streets, traveling south with no lights on.
When Officer Fisher turned around to pursue the vehicle, it turned onto Adams Street, where it briefly stopped before continuing west toward Beerenbrook Street — again with no lights on.
The vehicle was finally stopped at the intersection of Adams and Beerenbrook Streets. The driver was identified as Ashley Colindres, 18, of Plymouth.
During the investigation, it was determined that Colindres had never obtained a driver's license. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for driving without a license.
