Plymouth Police Officer makes 3 driving-related arrests over 3 days

A Plymouth Police Department officer made three driving-related arrests over the past few days, all stemming from routine traffic stops for moving violations.

The first arrest came on Monday, September 14th, at 7:22 a.m., when Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle at Third and Adams Streets for a traffic infraction. The driver, Jayson Mendoza-Romer, 21, of Plymouth, was found to have never received a driver's license. He also had an active warrant through Marshall County for failure to appear on the same charge. Mendoza-Romer was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and held without bond on the warrant.

A short time later, at 8:18 a.m. the same morning, Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle on U.S. 31 and U.S. 30 for a traffic infraction. The driver, 44-year-old Haley N. Murphy of Fort Wayne, was found to have a driver's license suspended due to a prior offense. She was booked into the Marshall County Jail.

The third arrest occurred on Wednesday, September 16th, at 8:11 a.m., when Officer Krynock was patrolling in the area of Baker and Fairbanks Streets and observed a vehicle commit a traffic infraction. The driver, Cassandra M. Mercado, 42, of Plymouth, was found to have never obtained a driver's license. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
