Plymouth Police arrested two individuals on Friday, February 13, on active warrants from other jurisdictions.
Plymouth Police received information Friday that Jessica Sheaks, 40, of Plymouth, had an active warrant through St. Joseph County.
Corporal McIntyre located Sheaks at her residence, took her into custody without incident, and transported her to the Marshall County Jail, where she is being held pending resolution of the St. Joseph County warrant.
In a separate incident on Friday morning, Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle at approximately 8:15 a.m. on U.S. 30 at Iris Road for a traffic infraction.
The driver was identified as Lee Edward Bennett, 34, of Milwaukee. During the traffic stop, the investigation revealed Bennett had an active warrant for his arrest out of Ohio.
Bennett was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Ohio authorities.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
