Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 1265 Baker Street for a Domestic Battery on Friday, December 6th just before 6 p.m.
Dispatch advised that the male party had hit the mother and sister. The caller advised that the male party, identified as Addison Waelbroeck, 22, had left and headed towards Plymouth High School in a white Nissan. While en route to the call, Officer Fisher saw a vehicle matching the description heading west on Baker Street towards Michigan Street. A traffic stop was conducted and Waelbroeck was taken into custody.
Waelbroeck was transported to the Hospital for a certified blood draw, and the results came back certified as .254 BAC.
Waelbroeck was booked into the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery with a prior conviction, domestic battery against a child under the age of 14 years, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, communication intimidation, interfering with reporting a crime, driving while suspended with a prior, operating while intoxicated endangerment, operating while intoxicated above .15 or more, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, and operating with a controlled substance.
Waelbroeck is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
