Plymouth man arrested after 911 hang-up call leads deputies to domestic incident

A 25-year-old Plymouth man is facing multiple charges after a 911 hang-up call led Marshall County Sheriff's Deputies to an active domestic incident Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, August 5th, at approximately 4:14 p.m., the Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a 911 hang-up call from the 3,000 block of Michigan Road. The dispatch center was unable to make voice contact with anyone on the other end of the line, so dispatchers began sending text messages to the phone. Through those messages, they learned that a physical domestic incident was actively unfolding at the residence.

Sergeant Jordan Rans arrived on scene and located the suspect, Javier Figueroa, as he was attempting to leave the residence. Following further investigation, Figueroa was taken into custody.

Figueroa was charged with three offenses: intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery in the presence of a child, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated — endangering. He was issued a court date of August 18, 2026, in Marshall County Superior Court 3 and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
