Plymouth High School is on the hunt for a new head boys basketball coach following the resignation of Greg Miller.
Athletic Director Josh Troyer announced Tuesday morning that Miller is stepping down after two seasons to pursue a career opportunity outside of coaching and athletics.
Miller informed the school administration and his players of his decision over the past few days.
“I have enjoyed my time here at Plymouth and regret leaving at this time, but an opportunity was presented to me that is something I cannot pass up on for my family,” Miller stated regarding his departure.
Athletic Director Josh Troyer praised Miller's contributions to the program during his tenure.
“Coach Miller did a great job helping our boys' program increase their basketball knowledge and led by example every day,” Troyer said. “We are grateful for the time he invested in our program and look forward to finding the right fit for Plymouth moving forward that can build off the foundation Coach Miller leaves behind.”
The search for the next leader of the Plymouth boys basketball program is already underway. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Athletic Director Josh Troyer via email at jtroyer@plymouth.k12.in.us.
Applicants must also complete the online job posting, which is available at www.applitrack.com/plymouthcsc/onlineapp/default.aspx.
