A 46-year-old Plymouth man is in the Marshall County Jail after Plymouth Police identified him as the suspect in several vandalism cases.

On Monday, the Plymouth Police Department received four reports of spray-painting at three different locations in Plymouth.

St. Michael's Catholic Church at 612 North Walnut Street had profanity painted on the concrete steps at the main entryway. The law office of Joseph Morris had black spray paint on their business sign at 612 North Walnut Street. A resident also had black spray paint in their driveway, along with eight slashed tires on vehicles parked there. Another resident had the back of their truck spray-painted.

Detective Derek Workman with the Plymouth Police Department identified Damon Daniels of Skylane Drive as the suspect in the criminal mischief. After interviewing Daniels, he was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for criminal mischief and held on a $3,000 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
